A Beautiful Fall Day [and family.]

I love it when a plan comes together...

I had the privilege of working with this family recently, and everyone was agreeable to having their pictures taken...except one - the little guy. He was SO NOT FEELING ME.

I'm always up for a challenge...and by the end of the shoot, I had earned his trust, even enough to see those adorable dimples when nobody else was looking at the lens.

This is one of my new favorite places to take photos, and it happens to be located in the very small town I grew up in. Thanks Mills Family, for being awesome, and for letting me win him over. ;o)

Engaged!

Awww...young love. ;o)

Meet Jeff + Jenelle. This adorable couple became engaged earlier this year, and I was THRILLED when they asked me to do their wedding and engagement photos. They are the real deal...they may be young, but they're totally sold out for each other, and I love getting the chance to capture that.

We shot at Trezzi Farm, in Greenbluff, near Spokane, Washington. They will be married here in July 2011. This was actually the first time Jeff had seen the venue.

The conditions were, as I like to say...YUMMY light! It was a gorgeous fall day, and we couldn't have gotten any luckier on the timing of the shoot.

Thanks J + J - I can't wait for next July! xoxo

Baby Twins [and a 4 Year Old too!]

Twins, twins, TWINS!! Just hanging out with all these families of multiples makes me TIRED! This Coeur d'Alene, Idaho family is really something...as I edited, I adored seeing the LOVE in this family of 5 come alive in photos. Do you see it, too?

Thanks Kramer's. Just remember...even when you're exhausted, it's totally worth it. ;o)

Oops...my assistant for the day (my mom) got caught slacking on the job!

3 Year Old Twins [and baby too!]

Boy...are these little boys BUSY! With a baby as well, these parents definitely don't get much rest!

Their Idaho backyard made the PERFECT setting for a portrait session, and I was glad to have the boys in their own element on this beautiful fall day.

Thank you, Bartas. I had so much fun taking these pics!

(This Mom happens to be my BFF from middle school! It's so fun to watch my friends grow up!)
